1. About us
Snoozly is a trading name of Yutani Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16832935. Our registered office is 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom, and our trading address is 7 Monmouth Avenue, Bury, Greater Manchester, BL9 5DU, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Yutani Ltd, and "you" means the person buying from us.
You can contact us by email at hello@snoozly.co.uk or by phone on +44 7598 327268, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address or phone number you gave us with your order.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed on snoozly.co.uk. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms. If any of those policies deals with a point in a way that gives you more protection than these terms, the more protective wording applies.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on our website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
3. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. For free, independent advice about your rights, contact the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133.
4. Who can buy from us
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old, buying for your own personal, non-business use, and have a delivery address in the United Kingdom. We do not currently deliver outside the United Kingdom, or to the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
5. Our products
We sell beds for dogs and cats, including our own range and beds made by other brands. We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different on different screens, and foam and fibre-filled products can vary slightly in size. Measurements are the outside dimensions in centimetres unless the product page says otherwise.
Foam beds are compressed for delivery. Unwrap your bed and allow 24 to 48 hours in a warm room for it to recover its full shape.
Our beds are comfort products for pets. They are not a medical or veterinary treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition. If your pet has a health condition, please speak to your vet.
Please remove all packaging before giving a bed to your pet, and keep packaging away from pets and children. No bed is chew-proof, so please supervise pets that chew.
Some products made by other brands come with the maker's own guarantee. Where one applies, the product page or the packaging gives its details. A maker's guarantee is in addition to your legal rights against us.
6. Placing an order
Our checkout lets you review your order and correct any mistakes before you submit it. When you place an order, you are offering to buy the items in it. We will email you to confirm we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not mean we have accepted it.
The contract between you and us is formed when we email you to confirm your order has been dispatched. Before that point we may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if a price was shown in obvious error, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. If we decline an order, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
7. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling. The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Price changes after you have ordered do not affect your order.
We take payment when you place your order. You can pay using any method shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we never see or store your full card details. If you choose a pay-later or instalment option, that agreement is between you and its provider, under its own terms.
If a price is clearly and obviously wrong, for example a bed shown at a fraction of its usual price, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then choose to buy at the correct price or cancel and receive a full refund.
Discount codes can be used once per order unless the offer says otherwise, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are subject to any conditions stated with the code.
8. Delivery, risk and ownership
Delivery options, costs and times are set out in our Shipping Policy. Your order is our responsibility until it is delivered to you, to a person you have nominated, or to a safe place you have chosen. You own the goods once they have been delivered and we have received full payment.
If we have not agreed a delivery date with you, we will deliver without undue delay and no later than 30 days after you place your order. If we cannot deliver within that time, we will contact you, and you may cancel and receive a full refund.
9. Cancellations and returns
Your right to cancel within 14 days and your rights if something is faulty are set out in our Refund Policy. If you want to cancel or return something, please email us first with your order number.
10. Personalised items
Items made to your specification, such as a bed embroidered with your pet's name, cannot be cancelled or returned for a change of mind once we have started making them. If a personalised item is faulty, damaged or not as described, your full legal rights still apply.
11. Our right to cancel after your order is accepted
Occasionally we may have to cancel an order after confirming dispatch, for example if the courier returns it to us as undeliverable after reasonable attempts, or if an event outside our control makes delivery impossible. If this happens we will tell you promptly and refund everything you have paid for the cancelled items, including delivery.
12. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, courier network failures, strikes or supplier shutdowns. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you as soon as possible and do what we reasonably can to reduce the delay. If the delay is likely to be substantial, you may cancel and receive a refund for anything you have paid for items not yet received.
13. Reviews and content you send us
If you leave a review, it must describe your own genuine experience of the product. Reviews must not contain offensive, unlawful or personal content about others. We publish genuine reviews whether they are positive or negative, and we do not edit their meaning. We do not pay for reviews, and we do not offer rewards for positive reviews. If we ever offer a thank-you for leaving a review, it will be offered whatever your rating, and the review will be clearly marked.
By sending us a review or photo, you allow us to show it on our website and social media, with your first name and last initial if you provided them. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
14. Using our website
You may use this website for lawful, personal purposes only. You must not copy our content without permission, introduce viruses or harmful code, or use automated tools to scrape, overload or disrupt the site. We may suspend or change parts of the website for maintenance or updates. Links to other websites are provided for your information only, and we are not responsible for their content.
All content on this website belongs to Yutani Ltd or is used with permission, as set out in our Legal Notice.
15. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if both of us knew it might happen when the contract was made. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products, and for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
We sell our products for domestic and private use only. If you use them for any commercial or business purpose, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
16. Your personal information
We use your personal information only as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
17. Complaints
If something goes wrong, please contact us first by email at hello@snoozly.co.uk or by phone on +44 7598 327268. Most problems can be put right quickly this way. We will investigate every complaint fairly and reply in writing.
If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will tell you so in writing, give you the details of an alternative dispute resolution provider that could deal with it, and tell you whether we agree to use that provider. You can also get free, independent advice from the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133.
18. Other important terms
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. If we do, we will tell you and make sure the transfer does not reduce your rights. You may only transfer your rights under these terms to another person with our written agreement.
This contract is between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce any of its terms.
Each section of these terms operates separately. If a court decides any of them is unlawful, the rest remain in full force.
If we do not insist straight away that you do something you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay taking steps against you, that does not mean you no longer have to do it, and it does not stop us taking steps later.
19. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
